The veteran population is a unique population with unique reproductive health needs. The majority of infertility care, and all the ART/IVF care authorized by VA takes place in the community. ART/IVF services are limited to veterans who meet the eligibility criteria. There are also limitations on cycle number and adjunct services such as IVF add-ons. This interactive discussion will review characteristics of the veteran population, the eligibility criteria for ART/IVF, excluded services and limitations of infertility services, and answer provider questions about caring for veterans with infertility.
